The Purpose of Open House

•  The main purpose of Open House is to make time to meet with God - to worship Him & to give the Holy Spirit time to work on us and change our lives. This purpose is rooted in the conviction that everything we do flows from our relationship with him.

•  Following on from this our purpose is to reach out to others with the love & compassion that God is showing us.

•  Open House is open to anyone who wants to come. People should feel free to come, as they want.

• We believe that we have captured something of what He wants to do at the moment. It is our conviction that he is more interested in us than in what we do. It is through spending the time with him that we become like Him. Intimacy and passion are key words. It His passion for us and His desire for intimacy that is the driving force behind our meetings. We often remark that all we do is open the door and He does the rest. It is His presence that changes our lives, brings healing or makes a truth a living part of our lives.

•  We believe that Open House is not just for one house but a way of doing church that can be repeated over & over again. The style of the meeting will vary with personality and gifts of the people involved but the concepts will be the same.
