In order to explain ourselves we need to start with the question What is Church? For us it is about people relating to God and about people relating to each other.

Open House is our way of 'doing' church.

In Open House we want to make time for God to be real - drawing us closer to him and revealing more of his love to everyone.

Open House is a place where you can feel safe. It is a place where we can all receive healing in our lives.

It is a place were we are learning how to care for each other.

We are learning not to judge people because to judge a person is to label them and not allow them to change. We should use our discernment and instincts to form opinions but we must always be open to allow the Holy Spirit to change a person just as he is changing us.

The key thing about Open House is that it is open to anyone who wants to come.

Many people have been hurt by the use of over control in the church. In Open House you can be the individual you were created to be.

 
Open House came into being in January 1997.
